Dr. Nicky Parkinson joined the practice in 2017. Nicky has a Golden Retriever, Fife, who is now 14 years old, and he promises to live forever! In addition to Fife, she adopted an Arabian/Appaloosa filly, from a rescue agency up island and is looking forward to working with and training a young horse. To round out the Parkinson animal family there are also 4 Hermann’s tortoises named Man O’ War, Secretariat, American Pharaoh and Northern Dancer. In her spare time Nicky can be found hiking, riding, and boating, in and around Greater Victoria with her husband John and beloved pet Fife.
Nicky graduated in 1993 from Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon and worked in Victoria for 4 years before heading to London, England, and working in the “Big Smoke” for 3 years. Nicky saw the light of the West Coast and moved back to Victoria in 1999 and is living happily ever after.
