Dr. Christina Klimaschka was born and raised in Dortmund, Germany. She is a graduate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Leipzig. She moved to Vancouver Island in 2007, and started her career in Canada working as a Veterinary Technician at the Dean Park Pet Hospital. In September of 2010, Dr. Klimaschka attained her credentials as a Canadian Veterinarian and runs part of our general practice treating not just cats and dogs, but also pocket pets and bees.
When Dr. Klimaschka is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her dog Benji, two guinea pigs and her pet rabbit “Stu” .
